In our lifetime, Europe has been a place of remarkable peace — a fragile, hard-won peace that many have come to take for granted. But in recent years, rising nationalism, political division, and renewed fears of war, intensified by the conflict in Ukraine, have shaken that peace. Fear is growing, and too many are turning away.
The Europa project is our call to resist this drift toward apathy. Through stories of solidarity and hope, we remind ourselves — and each other — what Europe truly stands for: unity, cooperation, and peace. If we don’t fight to preserve these values, we risk losing them.
